On the occasion of the delegations meeting in 1995, the spokesman of the authorities described the SCBO as a hard but fair negotiating partner. To us, those words are a compliment and prove how serious the SCBO works for the concerns of CB-radio. Finally, in 1979, the Swiss-CB-Organisation was founded to represent CB-radio to the authorities. Our concrete goals are:

• promotion of CB-radio
• information about regulations and innovations
• reduction in antagonism and prejudice
• improvement of technical conditions
• representing the SCBO in the authorities, the market and in interested groups
